The Project
From Waste to Wardrobe: Making Clothes with Recycled and Reused Materials is a small-scale partnership in school education (KA210-SCH), co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme. The project will run for 24 months, starting in December 2024.
Our main goal is to fight climate change and promote a sustainable lifestyle, with a strong focus on ecological education among young people. We aim to transform textile waste into fashionable clothing items, demonstrating that fashion can be both creative and environmentally responsible.
Through hands-on workshops in design, upcycling, and sewing, we will foster the development of key competences and green skills among students aged 12 to 18. The project strongly emphasizes inclusion, ensuring the active participation of students with special educational needs (SEN) and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving everyone the opportunity to contribute to a cleaner future.
